Community Guidelines
In a time when fascism, transphobia, xenophobia, misogyny, and racism have been so visibly platformed, we choose not to act as though everything is alright. We must emphatically oppose these sentiments and hope to create the loving space we want to see on the large scale, on the small scale.
We’re excited to celebrate love with our community. This is a queer wedding involving many of our queer friends and family. We love and support our queer and trans community and we emphatically reject misogyny, racism, bigotry, and xenophobia. If you do not share these values, kindly decline our invitation.
To help keep everyone safe, please be vaccinated, COVID test in advance, and if you are feeling sick, please send us well wishes from home!
While we would love to see everyone, we absolutely understand that life is busy - If you can’t make it, we will see you another time soon :)
FAQs
What should I wear to the wedding?
The theme of the wedding is “garden party disco”. We’re keeping this an open prompt to invite creativity. Some general guidelines are:
Loosely semi-formal; cocktail attire
Color and non-traditional are encouraged
Wear what makes you feel fabulous and fanciful
Logistically speaking, please wear shoes that are comfortable for walking on grass/dirt trails/mulchy garden grounds. The weather will likely be temperate to warm (in the 70s).
If you want our input, outfit pics are always welcome!
Can I bring a plus one/children?
We would like to keep the event intimate, and within the capacity of the venue. We ask that only those listed on the email invite attend!
